The Naka #Phuket Villa

The NAKA Phuket raises the bar of Phuket’s tourist industry with accommodation,
facilities and service which are certain to exceed everyone’s expectations.

This 94 pool villa resort is perfectly located in Kamala Bay,
and is possibly the only resort on the island to offer two natural settings
where an exclusive beach meets with an unspoiled hillside.

The resort is only accessible via an isolated mountain road making
it the perfect location for those seeking to experience
the ultimate feeling of seclusion, but as the resort is only 10 km. away
from Phuket’s bustling nightlife area of Patong,

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the waves softly crashing onto the soft white sand
of the resort’s exclusive beach from the private balcony,
relax on the private shaded sundeck,
or take a dip in the inviting private infinity pool,
each secluded from neighboring properties.

The spacious living areas feature teak flooring throughout with a warm
and calming shade of grey on the walls, cleverly
matched to the natural stone tiles in the separate shower room,
with oversized rain shower head, and toilet.

Each villa also boasts a complete range of top of the range facilities
including a state of the art, high-end media centre complete
with 46’’inch LED flat screen TV, surround sound system, DVD player
and HD movie jukebox, WI-FI internet etc.

The Naka Phuket Villa is the ideal choice
for travelers who seek a true city experience.

Laem Phromthep, #Phuket

Situated between Rawai and Nai Harn beaches,
Phrom Thep Cape is a dramatic headland that stretches out to sea
at the southwest end of Phuket Island.

The cape has spectacular views of the small island of Koh Kaew Yai
and the Andaman Sea, and is a particularly popular place to enjoy the sunset.

At the top is a shrine dedicated to Brahma, the Hindu god of creation,
whom the cape is named after. (Phra Phrom is the Thai name for Brahma,
laem means “cape”, while thep means “god”).

To get an even better view, climb up a couple of flights of stairs to a raised platform
in the Golden Jubilee Lighthouse. The lighthouse also contains a small nautical museum.

The viewpoint attracts a lot of tourists and locals at sunset,
so if you want to avoid the crowds consider going earlier in the day.

There is an open-air restaurant with fantastic views from the cape
which can make for a memorable dining experience.
Laem Phrom Thep is located between Rawai and Nai Harn.
Head south from Rawai for a couple of kilometres.

There is a large car park and quite a few souvenir shops so you won’t miss it.
The road is steep and windy so take extra care, especially if its wet.

Wat Phra Kaew, #Bangkok

Wat Phra Kaew or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (officially known as Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram)
is regarded as the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand.

Located in the historic centre of Bangkok, within the grounds of the Grand Palace,
it enshrines Phra Kaew Morakot (the Emerald Buddha),
the highly revered Buddha image meticulously carved from a single block of jade.

The Emerald Buddha (Phra Putta Maha Mani Ratana Patimakorn)
is a Buddha image in the meditating position in the style of the Lanna school of the north,
dating from the 15th century AD.

Raised high on a series of platforms, no one is allowed near the Emerald Buddha except HM the King.

A seasonal cloak, changed three times a year
to correspond to the summer, winter, and rainy season covers the statue.

 \
A very important ritual, the changing of the robes is performed only
by the King to bring good fortune to the country during each season.

The temple of  Emerald Buddha is beautifully decorated and has a great sense of peace about it.

Wat Phra Kaew or Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram,
is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple (wat) in Thailand.
It is located in Phra Nakhon District, the historic centre of Bangkok, within the precincts of the Grand Palace.
