Dubai Police are adding a white and green Bugatti Veyron, the most expensive
and fastest car in the world, is dolled up like a patrol car in Dubai.
The Veyron is the latest in a growing list of supercars in the Dubai Police arsenal to catch criminals.
The cars in the fleet are used more often in public spaces than for flat-out police chases.
The squadron of supercars spends more time near the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall
and Sheikh Mohammed Boulevard, posing for tourists
and generally flaunting the oil-rich emirate’s wealth.
The first supercar added to the fleet was a Lamborghini while cops in the emirates
also drive the Toyota Land Cruiser and the Kia Mohave.
Bugatti Veyron is one of the more valued vehicles in the super-car world,
and was named “Car of the Decade” (2000–2009) by the BBC television show “Top Gear.”
Super Sport version of the Veyron is the fastest street-legal production car in the world,
with a top speed of 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph).
Bugatti Veyron is a mid-engined sports car, designed and developed by the Volkswagen Group
and manufactured in Molsheim, France by Bugatti Automobiles.
